- World of Warcraft Burning Crusade Classic is coming your way this 1 June 2021

Though a lot of us here at The Outerhaven have walked away from World of Warcraft, either due to other games looking better, wanting to free up time, or just completely dissatisfied with the current product, many of us do have fond memories of the older content, such as The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King, and of course, Blizzard is trying to cash in on that nostalgia by updating their current World of Warcraft Classic retro game with the game’s first expansion: The Burning Crusade. Return to Outland on 2 June With the Launch of World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic™

A recreation of the first World of Warcraft expansion, the upcoming Burning Crusade Classic will allow players to enjoy all of the Outland-related content available to experience with the appropriate power levels and progression mechanics.

The update will go live on June 1 at 3pm PDT / 6pm EDT / 11pm BST, taking players to Hellfire Peninsula, a dangerous wasteland overrun by fel orcs and cruel demons. Remember though, you can choose to stay behind in Azeroth in separate WoW Classic servers, but you'll need to make your choice starting May 18 when the Burning Crusade Classic pre-expansion patch launches. You can stick with the Classic era realm, move on to Burning Crusade, or clone a character for a small fee and enjoy both games. Here's more on that process straight from Blizzard.
