The FIFA 22 Twitch Challenge is the first EA approved FIFA 22 tournament that will use the 2v2 format.

The ‘EA Sports FIFA 22 challenge powered by Adidas’ is a one-day competitive tournament, played on EA’s FIFA game, that pairs top professional footballers with the world’s best FIFA players on the virtual pitch.

FGS stands for FIFA Global Series, and FIFA players will know FGS Swap tokens well as they were introduced last year.

These tokens are gifted to players and can be used to earn free items in Ultimate Team.

When do FGS Swaps start in FIFA 22?
The first opportunity to earn FGS Tokens this year will be the 2v2 FIFA 22 Challenge on October 21 at 7 PM GMT (2 PM EST), streamed on the FGS Twitch channel.

EA SPORTS has also previously told us that there will be another FIFA 22 Global Series event on November 27, 2021, so we’ll also be able to earn some then.

How to earn rewards from FIFA 22 Challenge
To earn any FIFA Global Series 2022 rewards, all viewers must have a Twitch and an EA account. After creating a Twitch account, viewers must link their EA and Twitch accounts together. After this, all you need to do is watch the FIFA 22 Challenge event and redeem your rewards on Twitch. Viewers can also earn more rewards by watching other FGS events throughout the season.

Furthermore, the FGS swap tokens will also return for this season. The more tokens viewers redeem, the better rewards they get. Viewers can upgrade their team with some Fifa Ultimate Team packs. All FGS events this season, including the FIFA 22 Challenge, will have no less than five rewards. Aside from player tokens, rewards will include kits, trophies, crests, stadium dressings and FGS balls.
